CLAMS host cook-out

The Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) hosted a cook-out for its members and their families on June 20 at Holiday Harbor Park, featuring the club’s famous brauts and burgers. Attendees enjoyed fellowship, food, cornhole games and T-shirt giveaways.

The CLAMS is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. Membership is open to all Canyon Lake men. Its current membership is made up of more than 40 men. This strong membership enables the CLAMS to continue its philanthropic work, enabling the club to award scholarships to deserving Canyon Lake high school male seniors and to donate to other Canyon Lake clubs who help those in need.

Regular CLAMS meetings are held on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. during the months of January, February, March, May, October and November.

The CLAMS will meet in September to travel to Laughlin for its 31st annual Laughlin group trip.
