Chair Volleyball hosts annual Shrimp Boil

The Canyon Lake Chair Volleyball Club held its 2nd annual Shrimp Boil on June 13 at the home of Mickey and Penny Owens. Fifty club members attended the event and enjoyed a delicious shrimp dinner served family style.

The club’s next event will be a trip to The Diamond to watch a Storm game on Aug. 8. Chair Volleyball Club has teamed up with the Family Matters Club for this fun night.

The Chair Volleyball Club is for seniors 50 years of age and older. The club promotes fitness fun and the spirit of competition through the organized playing of chair volleyball. Members meet weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge.
