FMC invites residents to upcoming events

The Family Matters Club is hosting its annual Sand Castle Building and Pirate Treasure Dig during Taco Tuesday on July 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. Residents of all ages are invited to build their best sand castle for entry into a free drawing for a prize. Kids can also dig for pirate treasures under the Family Matters tent.

The club is co-hosting a free concert in the park with the Fine Arts Guild and the Jr. Women’s Club on July 21 at Holiday Harbor Park. “Margaritaville by the Lake” will feature a Jimmy Buffet tribute band.

The Family Matters Club will be providing a bounce house and face painting for kids and offering treats for sale in the snack bar.
