La Petite Boutique Spa opened its doors in October 2017 in the Canyon Lake Towne Center. Owner Shawnee Lovingfoss is a licensed esthetician with 12 years experience, offering microdermabrasion facials, enzyme and chemical peels.

”I customize treatments according to client skin type and skin concerns,” said Shawnee. “My motto is, come relax and be pampered in your own private escape and leave with healthy glowing skin.”

Shawnee obtained her esthetician license in 2005 while living in Palm Springs where she worked seven years as a lead aesthetician at Palm Canyon Resort and Spa. I

n 2010, Shawnee and her husband Jason moved to Temecula to be closer to Jason’s work in Anaheim.

Shawnee worked an esthetician at Rejuv Laser Spa in Temecula for two years building a following of loyal customers before opening her own business, La Petite Spa, in Old Town Temecula. Shawnee said she chose the name La Petite Spa “because it was small and it was just me doing the treatments.”

Located in an executive building with primarily medical offices, there was a lack of foot traffic and advertising. After two years, she decided to close the doors and work from home.

In June 2015, Shawnee and Jason moved to Canyon Hills. Due to HOA rules, Shawnee was no longer able to conduct business from home and she started looking for a new location for her business.

“I chose Towne Center as it’s our little hangout,” Shawnee said. “We love to eat and shop here.”

In addition to the new location, Shawnee changed the name to La Petite Boutique Spa. She added “boutique” to the name because she plans to carry accessories in addition to the services she offers.

La Petite Boutique Spa is a certified Epicuren Discovery dealer. “An exclusive skin care brand, Epicuren’s unique protein enzyme stimulates cell metabolism and improves skin appearance as well as lifting and tightening,” Shawnee said.

A typical treatment at La Petite Boutique Spa takes approximately one hour, depending on the client’s skin care needs. Shawnee explains, ”Every treatment is different. I don’t want to rush any of my clients and want to spend time with them answering questions they may have about skin care.” A basic microdermabrasion with an enzyme or chemical peel is $75.

Epicuren signature custom facials start at $95. Several packages are offered for clients to choose from.

Shawnee is currently running three specials; Himalayan Superfruit facial with microdermabrasion for $59, a three microdermabrasion facials that include enzyme peels for $165 and an On-The-Go-Glow mini enzyme peel facial for $25.

La Petite Boutique Spa, 31526 Railroad Canyon Rd, Suite 3, is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. by appointment and Saturdays by request. For more information, contact Shawnee at 760-831-1656 or visit La Petite Boutique Spa on Facebook.
