I would like to thank the community and their guests for their understanding and cooperation with the changes to this year’s parade route and event access. Their participation was overwhelming.
I would like to thank Sal and Robert’s Operations teams for their hard work in preparation for the event and the set-up and take down along the parade route and entire event. They did a great job.
Thank you to Cory Gorham, Mike and Bill, the security officers who worked the parade check points and entrance performed their tasks to the letter. Well done to your team.
Thank you to the Activities department, Carrie Pratt, Samantha Bell, Val Grillo and Tiffany Cribbs for their patience, time and endurance in preparation of the event. With their help, we were able to launch a new website that included online applications, payments, updated forms, parking passes and increased our sponsorships to a new level.
I would also like to thank volunteers, Donny, Michelle, and Barb for operating the check-in booth at the entrance, Mike and Alison B. for help setting-up, Randy and Tammy R. and Kathy Ray for traffic control and all others who volunteered their time or helped behind the scenes. Thank you.
Thank you to the Fiesta Day Committee, LaRue McNamara, Mike Shroyer, Roanne Grasso, Jude Donahue, Lyne Hall and volunteers Bobbi Ehlers and Sue Collins. Without their volunteerism it would not have been possible. Their time and dedication to the event showed. They persevered through all of the changes we faced with great success! Their planning, scheduling and improvement to public safety was perfectly executed. This year’s food, activities and entertainment were some of the best we have ever had.
I sincerely thank them and look forward to working with all of them next year.
