Letter: Choraleers Concert

Editor, The Friday Flyer

We would like to shout out a big thank you to the Canyon Lake community for their tremendous support of our very own Choraleers at their recent “Best of Big Band” concert in the Holiday Bay room at the lodge.

This concert marked the end of the first year with our new director Lorilee Bajema. We always knew that our group had potential to deliver such a successful event.

To push this concert over the top, we were joined by the advanced jazz ensemble from Elsinore High, and wow what a great sound.

The director and board are thrilled and honored to be leading such a phenomenal group and humbled by the outpouring of support by attendees of the sold-out concert.

The energy in that room was wonderful. Thank you to all who helped make it an event to be proud of. We speak for all Choraleers when we offer a huge thank you to the entire community, residents and guests alike, for getting behind us.

Please save the date, Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at 2 p.m., for our holiday concert “Let it Snow.” We promise to bring a concert to remember.

If you are sixteen or older, like to sing and can carry a tune, consider joining us for our next season. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings and will resume in September. Come be part of this fun and rewarding musical adventure.  If interested, please email us at canyonlakechoraleers@gmail.com

Sincerely,

Larry Garland
Choraleers President
