Canyon Lake resident Paul Kakis honored at Car Show

Canyon Laker Paul Kakis was honored on Saturday during the 4th annual Lamb’s Fellowship Car and Motorcycle Show. Paul, the organizer of the show, was honored by Lake Elsinore Mayor Pro Tem Steve Manos, who presented Paul with a Certificate of Recognition for his charitable efforts in the City of Lake Elsinore and declared May 19, 2017, Paul Kakis Day.

“We do what we do because it’s the right thing, not for glory but for supporting the needs of others,” said Paul. “I was humbled to receive this honor from the City of Lake Elsinore and Mayor Pro Tem Steve Manos.”

This year’s show featured 140 cars, 110 motorcycles, live entertainment, opportunity drawings, live auction, vendors and food booths. Proceeds from the show will allow children to attend Lamb’s Fellowship’s Vacation Bible School at no charge this year. Vacation Bible School starts June 25 and runs for one week. Parents interested in enrolling their children should contact the church at 951-471-3807 or lfleoffice@gmail.com.
