Kids invited to participate in Jr. Bassmasters Tourney

The Canyon Lake Bassmasters Club will be hosting its annual Junior Bassmasters Tournament on Sunday, Apr. 15.

Young anglers ages 15 and under are invited to participate. Canyon Lake residency is not a requirement to participate. Boats will be provided.

This is a qualifying tournament for the Junior Angler State Championships on May 27 at Lake Skinner. One winning team from the State Championships will receive a trip to the World Championship in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Travel assistance will be provided.

Children will not be able to compete in the Junior Angler State or World Championship tournaments if they are 16 years of age on or before 31 August.

Registration is $30 and includes membership into Fishing League Worldwide (FLW). Registration is mandatory; organizers need to know how many boats to provide.
