A group of women recently completed a four-week beginner golf lesson sponsored by the 9ers Golf Club and taught by Golf Pro Pat Kemball. The lessons were held on Wednesdays from March 7 to April 4 and covered a wide range of skills that included putting, chipping and driving off the tee.
“Everyone learned a great deal and were especially appreciative of Pat’s patience and skills,” said attendee Anna Pieters.
The 9ers Golf Club treated the group of women to a luncheon at the end of the final lesson. There were also prizes given away.
The 9ers Golf Club is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association. Ladies who are interested in playing golf and making new friends are invited to play; all levels of golfers are welcome.
The club meets at 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays in the Magnolia Room at the country club and tees off at 10 a.m. For more information, contact Linda Kielty at 951-746-2250 or visit the club’s website at cl9ers.com.
