Sharing family fun at community Easter Carnival

Hundreds of children, parents and families enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival on Saturday at Holiday Harbor Park. The event, hosted by the Family Matters Club, featured egg hunts, photos with the Easter Bunny, carnival games, bounces houses, face painting and vendors.

The winners of the egg hunts are as follows:

Ages three and younger: Aaron Zarb, Emma Curland and Nicholas Arrendondo

Ages four to six: Savannah Spitale, Monica Potter and Owen Potter

Ages seven to 10: Aiden Servis and Art Arivizu

Ages 11 and older: Joshua Arivizu and Reylene Meich

All the children who participated in the egg hunts were given a goody bag and a coupon for a free lunch at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant.

The Family Matters Club would like to thank the Car Club, Woman’s Club, Men’s Golf Club, Sandy Humphries and Mike and Robyn Zingg for sponsoring the egg hunt and prizes, Aprile DeAnne for emceeing and providing the music and Canyon Lake business AmeriClean for sponsoring the bounce houses.

“A big sincere thank you to all the sponsors, as well as the more than 40 adult and high school volunteers who worked so tirelessly to make this event such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you,” says Volunteer Coordinator Tracy Casey.
