Letter: Speak to the Candidates

Just a little reminder to come out on Monday, Apr. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room for Speak to the Candidates.

This will be the fifth year that our various Canyon Lake clubs have come together to sponsor this event, and it will also be your first opportunity to meet and speak to our three candidates that are running for the POA board: Jim Barringham, Dudley Thompson and Dale Welty.

My husband Mike and I have been longtime residents, since 1989, and we still love Canyon Lake.  Definitely has changed over the years and continues to do so, both in demographics and growth in and around our city.

If you have any questions or concerns about our future, whether security, amenities, dredging, that all-inclusive plan, our assessments and spending, anything, then it should also be important that you come meet our candidates. They will be the ones making decisions on your behalf, let’s make sure you know where they stand on different issues.
