Ball Drop

Residents are invited to participate in the chamber’s 2nd annual Ball Drop for a chance to win up to $5,000. The Ball Drop will take place after the golf tournament on Saturday, May 19. Participants do not have to enter the golf tournament to participate and the winner need not be present to win.

Golf ball “numbers” can be purchased for $10 each at the chamber, Pack, Wrap and Post and Pro Golf Shop at the country club. The purchaser provides their contact information and receives one number per ball; not the actual golf ball.

Using a mechanical lift, the hopper filled with the numbered golf balls will be lifted and dropped all at once over a hole (cup) on the practice range. The purchaser of the numbered ball that lands in the bottom of the hole will receive half the money collected from the Ball Drop sales, up to $5,000. A limited number of balls are available.
