As part of Santa Rosa Academy’s move to hold their annual lottery 18 months prior to the start of school, they will be holding their 2019/20 school year lottery on Mar. 2 at 8 a.m. in the school’s Technology Center. Parents interested in entering their children in the 2019/2020 lottery may do so now online at sra.mm/lottery-sign-up. The deadline to enter is Feb. 15.
“By holding our lottery early we will be able to incorporate new programs that will support our youngest students prior to entry into TK/K,” said Executive Director Laura Badillo. “By holding our lottery earlier we will be able to have several parent training days where we will provide parents with information on early childhood education, how I can help my child, appropriate developmental education prior to entering school, reading to your child, etc.”
If you are looking to add your student to the lottery for kindergarten or transitional kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year, the birth dates for kindergarten are between Sep. 2, 2013, and Sept. 1, 2014, and the transitional kindergarten birth dates are between Sept. 2, 2014, and Dec. 1, 2014.
Any new families interested in enrolling their children in homeschool/independent study are welcome to complete the online interest list at sra.mn/red-track-enrollment.
