Olivia Rox joins Warren Hill performance

Olivia Rox, 2016 American Idol finalist, will join Warren Hill on stage as a special guest performer during tomorrow evening’s Valentine’s Concert at the lodge.

Eighteen-year-old Olivia grew up in a musical household. Her father is acclaimed jazz saxophonist Warren Hill and her mother is Tamara Van Cleef, a producer, writer and director.  Olivia has come into her own as a dynamic vocalist, songwriter and performer.

At age nine, Olivia landed the starring role of “Annie” at Boulder’s Dinner Theater. She delivered 75 performances and the prestige of an Ovation Award Nomination by the critics for her acting and singing. Top Pop music producer Matthew Gerrard produced her on a song as a personal endorsement, as well as co-writing and recording a brand new song entitled “I Am Me.”

Olivia made it to the final testing for Disney’s “Bits & Pieces,” and landed a lead role in the Sci-Fi film “Tears” and a commercial for AT&T.  She then shot her first music video of her own song “Do You Know.” She already has more than 500,000 Facebook followers.

In 2016, Olivia appeared on “American Idol,” where she made it to the infamous Top 10, and finally landed her spot in the top six girls.

Olivia’s most cherished passion is to give back and to help others. Although she says she is still a kid at heart, Olivia is often referred to as an “old soul,” with a strong compassion for those that are less fortunate.

Her song “Love in Our Hearts,” written at age seven, became the theme song for the charity “Cherish Our Children International”.

She loves to lend her support and talent to Unicef, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, The Humane Society and Cherish Our Children International.
