Bill Van Dyke, a student at Lake Elsinore Adult Transition Program, landed a 10-pound largemouth bass. Bill has been fishing in Canyon Lake since he was 3 years old and stated that this bass was the largest that he has ever caught.
Bill was using a red and white spoon lure and hooked the bass on the fifth cast of the day. It took him several minutes to land the large bass. Because Bill always practices catch and release, this bass could possibly be another catch for another day.
