Volunteers needed to help plan Fiesta Day

It takes many volunteers to put on Fiesta Day for the community. Fiesta Day, considered to be the granddaddy of all Canyon Lake events, has been the “opening event for summer” for more than 40 years. The community-wide event takes place on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and attracts more than 5,000 spectators.

The Fiesta Day committee is seeking volunteers to help plan this year’s Fiesta Day. The members of this committee work together with the POA Activities Department. Committee meetings begin in January to establish a theme and continue to meet more frequently as the big day draws near. For more information about the available positions on the Fiesta Day Committee, contact Senior Activities Manager Carrie Pratt at 951-244-6841, ext. 611.
