CL Library’s Buck-A-Bag Book Sale ends Saturday

Saturday is the last day for readers to purchase a bag of books for $1 at the Canyon Lake Library’s Buck-A-Bag Book Sale. There is no limit to the number of bags an individual may purchase. The sale ends at 3 p.m. More books have been donated and added to the selection making it valuable to stop in more than once.

Proceeds from the book sale go to the Friends of the Canyon Lake Library to support programs and materials. Donations during the sale period are welcomed. At $1 a bag, the Friends of the Canyon Lake Library made over $100 the first day of the sale.

The Canyon Lake Library is a collaboration with the City of Canyon
Lake and the Riverside County Library System. The first library card is free; replacement cards are $1. Checkout of materials is also free providing the materials are returned or renewed in compliance with the borrowing period of two weeks.

Library hours are Mondays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The library is closed Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
