Men’s Golf Club hosts Christmas Tournament

More than 50 golfers participated in the Men’s Golf Club’s end of the year Christmas Tournament. The game was a Partner Best Ball of the Foursome with a men’s flight (Jack and Jack) and a couple’s flight (Jack and Jill). Lunch and awards followed the tournament. Prizes were awarded for Gross, Net, Closest to the Pin and two Skins games.

Jon Evans organized the event and recruited players. In the spirit of Christmas, Jon was able to have a free raffle of gifts that were left over from past tournaments. “It seemed like everyone went home with something to remember the day,” said Joe Kamashian.

The tournament winners are as follows:

1st place Jack and Jack Gross: Dave Hartman, Marcus Schonabaum Wayne Curtis and Bruce Wallace.

1st place Jack and Jill Gross: Tom and Julie Faia and Phil Lerch and Marina Stinson.

1st place Jack and Jack Net: Steve McCain, Don Raworth, Phil Coughlin and Bob Jacobson.

1st place Jack and Jill Net: Bob and Marlene Cathro and Lou and John DeYoung.
