Residents compete for ugliest Christmas sweater

Residents in ugly, overly festive, tacky Christmas sweaters competed for prizes at the country club’s Ugly Sweater Party on Friday evening. The event featured a buffet and drink specials, contests and live entertainment featuring local band Replay.

Local quizmaster and DJ Aprile DeAnne kicked off the party with a Christmas Trivia game. Beating out the competition was the team of Carmel Lemke and Julie McCaffery.

The Doo Doo Singing Contest followed trivia. The team of Kimberly Harvick and Joe Lemke came in first place with their Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer jingle.

The Ugly Sweater Contest winners are Hugh Wagner, Scott Ellis, Harry Larson, Jim Fields and Leslie Netting.
