Little League spring registration opens

Canyon Lake Little League 2018 spring registration is now open. The league serves kids ages four to 15 who reside in Canyon Lake and Canyon Hills. Early bird registration ends Dec. 8; registration ends Jan. 8. All registrants must provide a birth certificate, proof of residency (utility bill) and/or school enrollment form. Evaluations for players league ages five and older will be held on Jan. 11 and Jan. 13.

The season runs from February through May 2018. All home games will be played at Gault Field in Canyon Lake.

Parents interested in managing a team in the AA and above divisions must attend a mandatory interview on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 5:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the country club.

AA: $110

AAA: $120

Majors-50/70-Juniors: $150
