Letter: City’s Tree Lighting

Such a great time was had at the city’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday. The weather was just cool enough to feel right and warm enough to enjoy being out and about.

The crowd was bigger than before and everyone enjoyed the hot cocoa and treats while listening to our wonderful Canyon Lake Choraleers caroling in the season.

We were able to hold it on Small Business Saturday, and with the support of our very own local small businesses like The Cup Above (hot chocolate) and the soon-to-open Canyon Cowboy (yummy treats), it was wonderful.

Thank you to everyone who came out and special thanks to our own city staff for all of the hard work they put into making our season so much brighter.
