Many Wonders of Christmas tickets on sale now

Canyon Lake women are invited to the 9th annual Many Wonders of Christmas luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Canyon Lake Community Church. This year’s theme is Old Fashioned Christmas.

The luncheon will feature 30 lighted, themed and decorated trees, which will be offered in an opportunity drawing.

In addition to lunch, there will be entertainment and an opportunity drawing for a handmade Christmas quilt.

The lunch menu features chicken marsala, rice, vegetables, Caesar salad and dessert. The event is put on by the Many Wonders Committee. The husbands of the wives on the committee will be serving as waiters.

Tickets are $20 or a table for $160. Reserve a ticket by calling Lynda Ofstad at 951-244-7866. Tickets can also be purchased before and after services on Sunday, Oct. 29, Nov. 5 and Nov. 12.

The proceeds from the 2018 luncheon will be donated to Women’s Activities at the church.
