Rocktoberfest to benefit Las Vegas shooting victims

The Jr. Women’s Club will donate a portion of the proceeds from tomorrow’s Rocktoberfest to the Las Vegas Victims Fund. Saturday’s event runs from 1 to 5 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park, 22180 Village Way Dr., and will feature beer tastings from local microbreweries, vendors, live music featuring Moon Shot, food from The Urban and opportunity drawings.

Participating breweries include Inland Wharf Brewing Co., Mason Jar Brewery, Craft Brewery, Stadium Pizza and Brewery, Hanger 24 and Electric Brewery, to name a few.

A $20 wristband includes 18 tastings and entry into vendor raffle. “We’ve had a good response from the breweries, so we’re able to offer more tastings per stamp card this year,” said JWC President Alissa Rackstraw. Tastings are for those 21 years old and over; ID and wristband will be required.
