The Canyon Lake Family Matters Club invites the community to its 4th annual Halloween Carnival and Costume Contest this Sunday, Oct. 15, from 12 to 4 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park.

This community-wide event will feature game booths, craft stations, face painting, dance party, tattoos, bounce houses and prize table. Unlimited fun wristbands are $5.

Other features include vendors, raffles, Costume Contest and a Costume Shop.

The children’s Costume Contest begins at 3 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Those who don’t have a costume can pick one up at the Costume Shop for $5 per costume. The costumes are brand new, sizes range from infant to adult. Proceeds from the sale go back to support the club’s philanthropic work.

The snack bar will be open throughout the afternoon. Nachos, hot dogs, candy and beverages are a few of the items that will be available for purchase.

The Family Matters Club is open to all residents, young and old, kids or no kids. The club puts on several events throughout the year to benefit the community and raise funds for philanthropic donations. Events are free or low-cost to attend. For more information, visit the club’s Facebook page or call 714-394-4885.
