Canyon Lake Community Theatre (CLCT) invites the community to enjoy the arts and local talents at its annual benefactor show, Beatles, Brits and Brunch, on Sunday, Oct. 22 in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. Brunch will be served at 2 p.m. with the show to following at 3 p.m.
Brunch will include tea, scones and a rich and creamy Devonshire cream and jams followed by a show including musical numbers from a variety of British singers including The Kinks, Pink Floyd, Lulu and The Beatles. Attendees are encouraged to wear a fanciful hat to this fun filled family event.
Brunch plus show tickets are $35 for adults; $20 for children. They must be purchased in advance. Show only tickets are $15 for general admission, $12.00 for students and seniors over age 65 and $10.00 for children under age 12. CLCT is still looking for participants, kindergarten through adult, to join in on their annual benefactor show. A few scattered rehearsals will be held throughout the month of October. Whether you can sing, dance, act, or none of the above, all you need is love to participate in this show (no audition needed). There will be a small production fee of $25 to participate. The annual election of the Canyon Lake Community Theatre and Performing Arts Association for 2018 will be held on Thursday, November 2, at 7 p.m. in the Magnolia Room, downstairs in Country Club.
