Tennis Club announces tournament winners

The Tennis Club held its Endless Summer Tournament on Saturday evening, Sept. 9. Twenty-four players participated in the last evening tournament of the summer. Players enjoyed tennis fun and some delicious food, including Dave Martilla’s  “World Famous” chili.  The tournament winners are: Dave Martilla, Russ Muscarella, Vern Clayton, Lucy Coffield, John Haas and Melissa Albright.

The club is hosting its Halloween Costume Mixer on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 8 a.m. Costumes are encouraged but are not required.  To reserve a spot, contact Kathy Valdez at 760-413-7817 or katrey@yahoo.com.

The Tennis Club invites residents to come out for social play on Mondays and Fridays at 8 a.m. and Fridays at 6:30 p.m. Participants are asked to bring an appetizer to share.

Social play is a free activity open to all levels of players and is a great way to meet other players without committing to a schedule.
