The Canyon Lake Lions Club held its annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday at Holiday Harbor Park. The menu included pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, coffee and tea for a $6 donation; children under five ate for free.

The Lions Club would like to thank the local Cub Scouts who were on hand collecting monetary donations for victims of hurricane Harvey and the Lions White Cane Project, Trusted Business Partners for its sponsorship and members of the Lioness Club for their assistance with this event.

The Canyon Lake Lions Club meets monthly on the second Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Sunset Room at the lodge. The club, formed Jan. 23, 1975, was one of the first clubs formed in Canyon Lake and is part of the largest service organization in the world. The members collect used eyeglasses to aid in the organization’s goal to help those with sight problems.
