Community invited to breakfast at the lake

Canyon Lakers and their guests are invited to have breakfast by the lake at the Lions Club annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park.

The menu will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, coffee and tea for a $6 donation per person. Bloody Marys and Mimosas will also be for sale. Children under the age of five eat free.

Tickets can be purchased at the park on the day of the event or from any Lions Club member, or by calling LaRue McNamara at 951-244-6470.

The Lioness Club members will be helping their sponsoring Lions Club by serving coffee and all items necessary for the breakfast. Cub Scouts Pack 346 will be at the breakfast collecting donations for the Lions “White Cane Project,” one of the Lioness Club’s international projects to help the blind.

Lions support the Lions Clubs International Foundation whose mission is to eradicate blindness and solve major humanitarian challenges worldwide. Lions Clubs all over the world, including Canyon Lake Lions, are making donations to Lions Clubs International which will go to help the victims of natural disasters around the world.
