The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses and individuals organized to encourage a strong local economy and quality of life by promoting and advancing the community, civic, cultural and educational development of the Canyon Lake area while providing a valuable forum for issues affecting local commerce and the general well-being of the community.
To join the chamber or for more information, contact Executive Director Alison Burrafato at 951-244-6124.
The chamber invites the community to celebrate the 7th Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Canyon Lake Towne Center parking lot. This popular community event will feature traditional food, beer and wine garden, live music, a kids zone, contests, carnival games and vendors.
Contests include Beer Drinking (non-alcoholic), Hot Dog Easting and Yodeling. Meet Steve Harvey’s Funderdome winner Chef Anton with his 33-in-1 Bean Bagglz Tossing Game that’s fun for all ages.
The chamber is seeking sponsors and non-food vendors for this event. Non-food vendor booths are going fast; however, there are still a few available for $25 per space. For more information, contact Alison Burrafato at the chamber office at 951-244-6124 or email@example.com.
Parade of Frights
The Chamber will host the 25th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, Oct. 28 with registration beginning at 9 am in front of city hall in the Towne Center.
This historic community event features costumed children trick-or-treating at more than 30 Towne Center businesses using the chamber’s “Treasure Map.” Participating business will stamp the map and hand out treats.
Completed maps are entered for a prize drawing. Lake Elsinore Storm mascot “Thunder” will lead the costume contest parade in front of city hall. This event will also feature bounce houses, carnival games and a DJ. For sponsorship information, contact the chamber office at 951-244-6124.
