Camp out in Canyon Lake on Labor Day

Labor Day is the last three day weekend of the summer, one of Happy Camp’s busiest times of the year. The camp is for the enjoyment of the members and their guests. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis and are not site specific. There is a limit of one campsite per tract-lot.

Those making the reservation must have a valid POA card and be a member “in good standing.”

There is a three day minimum reservation between Sept. 1 through Sept. 4. Holiday rates apply. A non-refundable $30 deposit per campsite is required to make a reservation. Cash and credit are only forms of payment accepted.

Happy Camp Campground, located at the end of Longhorn Dr., is situated on over three acres. There are 40 sites available. Amenities include lighted parking, shaded picnic areas, horseshoe court, roped swimming area, boat docks, gas dock, showers and restrooms. The daily rates from May 1, 2017 through October 31, 2017 are:

Holiday rates are $55. Off water with hookups are $50 and off water with water and electric only are $45. Extra car fees are $5 per day.
