Make friends, learn new things at the senior center

The senior center offers many opportunities for active adults in Canyon Lake to make friends and learn some new things. The center is an inviting environment for members of Canyon Lake to enjoy social meet-ups, play games and have club meetings. With monthly potluck dinners, classes, weekly game nights and seasonal events, there is something for everyone.

Monthly potluck dinners are held on the first Tuesday and last Sunday of the month at 5 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share.

Bingo is held on the first and third Sunday of each month 1 to 4 p.m. Doors open at 12:30. Bingo games cost $10 for a six-sheet paper set.

During the holidays, the Senior Christmas Dinner Dance, Senior New Year’s Eve Party and the annual Holiday Boutique are held at the center.

The senior center is located near the main gate, 23307 Canyon Lake Dr. South, and features several rooms, kitchen area, restrooms, outside patio with tables and plenty of parking.
