Residents are invited to swim with the mermaids at a kid-friendly Mermaid and Pirate Pool Party on Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the home of Mermaid Festival Chair Lyne Hall.

This event, hosted by the Woman’s Club, will feature swimming, mermaids and buffets for adults and kids. A lifeguard will be on duty at this event.

Adult tickets are $10 and includes one drink and an all-you-can-eat adult buffet; additional drinks are $5. All inclusive tickets for kids cost $10 and includes entry into the mermaid pool, all-you-can-eat kid-friendly buffet and a refillable color changing cup that is also good for free drinks at the Mermaid Festival on Aug. 26 at Indian Beach.

Mermaid and pirate costumes are not mandatory but are encouraged.

Space is limited; reservations are required. To make a reservation, contact Lyne Hall at 951-244-2101 or lyne@royalbash.com.

All proceeds from this event will go towards the fundraising efforts of the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club; monies are disbursed annually to local charities and in the form of scholarships to Canyon Lake students.
