Seniors invited to enjoy free spaghetti dinner

A couple dozen seniors in the community enjoy a monthly potluck at the senior center on the second Tuesday and last Sunday, but this month they are in for a real treat. The Canyon Lake Family Matters Club will host a free spaghetti dinner for seniors on Sunday, July 30, at 5 p.m. at the senior center.

Dinner will include salad, spaghetti, meatballs, garlic bread and dessert. Attendees should bring their own drink.

In addition to dinner, the club will raffle off a prize and the senior center will provide music. “We have an updated music system at the senior center, compliments of the POA,” said Kathy Barbay, member of the Senior Work Group.

All seniors in the community are invited. Reservations are not required, simply show up and enjoy a meal and the company of other seniors in the community. For more information, call 714-394-4885.
