Dave Deboe wins Best of Show at Charity Car Show

Canyon Laker Dave Deboe’s 1937 Ford Cabriolet earned his a Best of Show award at the Top-Line Industrial Supply’s 5th annual Charity Car and Bike show on June 24 in Beaumont, California. The event featured more than 100 cars, trucks, bikes and project vechiles, raffles, music, vendors, food and trophies.

Net proceeds from the event went to Carol’s Kitchen, a non-profit organization that feeds the hungry in Riverside County.

Dave is a member of the Canyon Lake Car Club. The Car Club holds monthly meetings on the first Thursday in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. Anyone owning a pre-1973 vehicle is welcomed. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the general meeting at 6:30 p.m.

At the meeting members learn about upcoming events, listen to guest speakers and share automotive experiences. Finger foods are served and a 50/50 drawing rounds out
