He leaves behind his wife, two children, two stepchildren, three grandchildren and two brothers.
George was a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School in 1957. Immediately following, he was a scholarship student at the University of Michigan where he played basketball and football and earned an engineering degree.
Later in life, he earned a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law.
George owned his own business for the past 35 years. He played rugby for 10 years, then he played golf. That was his love.
He has a house in Forest Highlands in Flagstaff, Arizona. He played golf in the pines as much he could.
George will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial was held yesterday, June 8, at the Canyon Lake Country Club.
