Horse Camp begins June 19

Summer Horse Camp will be offered at the Canyon lake Equestrian Center June 19 through June 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. The camp is for kids ages 5 to 15. The cost is $300 (daily rates also available). A reservation fee of $50 is required. Reservation fee is credited towards camp cost.

Snacks, drinks, horse crafts and workbooks will be provided.

The program, taught by ARIA certified trainer Kathleen Elliott, is designed to be a positive first introduction to horses.

Through horse-related games and activities, campers will learn about the care of horses, their characteristics, breeds, colors and safe riding techniques.
