The Canyon Lake Art Association (CLAA) held it’s annual Spring Art Show on Sunday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the country club. Despite the looming rain clouds, guests still enjoyed an afternoon with local artists of Canyon Lake.
The club’s biggest fundraiser of the year featured the works of many talented local artists specializing in painting, drawing, digital art, photography and more. The event also featured art for sale, a silent auction and raffle baskets.
The Canyon Lake Art Association has been supporting education, appreciation and participation in the arts since 1976.
The club meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the senior center. Residents are invited to network, make and share artwork and attend monthly meetings and other yearly events. Membership is open to individuals 18 years of age and older, but all are welcome to attend and bring their art to share. For more information, visit canyonlakeartassociation.com.
