Choraleers concert to offer Hollywood favorites

The Canyon Lake Choraleers will be presenting their annual Spring Concert on May 21 at 3 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. This year’s theme is “Reel Music,” a tribute to Hollywood and Academy Award winners.

The Choraleers will be presenting songs from Academy Award winning and nominated movies including classics like “Singing in the Rain” and “Moon River” to songs like “In Summer” from Frozen and “Everybody Rejoice” from the Wiz.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased now from any member of the Choraleers, online at brownpapertickets.com and at Member Services at the POA.

The members of this vocal group meet weekly throughout the year to practice for their spring and winter concerts and for other special events like Veterans Day. The Choraleers are led by Robbin Bouslog and accompanied on the piano by Lynda Salina.

Membership is open to residents and those in nearby communities. Those interested in joining the Choraleers should contact Larry Garland at 508-498-6210 or visit canyonlakechoraleers.org.
