The Classic Rock All Stars, a supergroup composed of hit making artists from the 60s and 70s, will perform in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge on April 22. Performing together will be Goldy McJohn from Steppenwolf, Albert Bouchard from Blue Oyster Cult and Mike Pinera from Blues Image, Iron Butterfly and Alice Cooper.

Together the artists will perform the smash hit songs from each of their bands. “Ride Captain Ride,” “Magic Carpet Ride,” “Don’t Fear the Reaper,” “Godzilla” and “In a Gada Da Vida” are some of the songs these artists will be performing.

The Hollow Suns are opening the show. The young band originated in Los Angeles in June 2015. Band members consist of 24-year-old bassist and vocalist AJ Tucci, 22-year-old drummer and vocalist Jesse Farmer and 23-year-old vocalist and lead guitarist Troy Braunstein. Their influences are a little bit of everything, from classic rock and roll and surf rock to grunge and blues.

“This show takes the audience on a dazzling journey through time and the awe inspiring thrills of a truly special time in history. With The Hollow Suns opening the show we now have an eclectic line-up that all ages of Canyon Lake residents will enjoy,” said the concert’s promoter Doug Schultz.

“The one request I’ve had from the people of Canyon Lake was to book some rock and roll. Well, this is the show that those who have asked should go see. This concert features two full bands and it’s going to be a good one.”

Concert tickets are on sale now at POA Member Services and online at canyonlakepoa.com. General Admission tickets are $30; VIP tickets are $55. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show starts at 7:30 p.m.
