Residents invited to ‘Meet the Candidates’ forums

There are three upcoming Meet the Candidate forums scheduled.

The forums provide residents with an opportunity to meet the candidates running for the POA Board of Directors and learn where they stand on POA related issues.

The first forum will be held at the Senior Center on April 8 at 10 a.m. This forum is sponsored by the Senior Work Group. Seating is limited, attendees should arrive early.

The fourth annual “Speak to the Candidates” will be held on April 10 at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge.

At this forum, moderated by resident Joanna Spiller and Riverside County Supervisor Kevin Jeffries, homeowners will be able to speak directly to the candidates with questions that are important to them and hear firsthand each candidate’s response. This forum is sponsored by more than 20 Canyon Lake clubs.

The Chamber will host a Meet the POA Candidates luncheon on Wednesday, April 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall.

This forum will provide an opportunity for the candidates to speak to residents, local business owners and Chamber members.

The luncheon will be catered by The Sports Stop and The Cup Above. Lunch is $8. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Chamber at 951-244-6124.
