Saddle up! Horse Camp for kids begins April 10

Horse Camp, for children ages five to 15, will be offered at the Canyon Lake Equestrian Center April 10, 11 and 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The program is taught by ARIA certified trainer Kathleen Elliott and is designed to be a positive first introduction to horses.

Through horse-related games and activities, campers will learn about the care of horses, their characteristics, breeds, colors and safe riding techniques.

The cost is $300 (daily rates also available). A reservation fee of $50 (credited towards camp cost) is required.

Snacks, drinks, horse crafts and workbooks will be provided.
