Canyon Lake resident Lyne Hall is anything but boring, her free spirited personality draws you in and makes you want to find out what she is all about. Lyne is a woman who lives and loves life to the fullest.
Lyne and her daughter, Alise Lawrence, are partners in a design and planning business called Royal Bash. Lyne has over twenty five years of experience with social and corporate events. Royal Bash provides its clients with their initial creation of themes unique to them and their needs, and specializes in party styling and printable to go with it.

Lyne said, “My love of entertaining and creating my own themed parties (something her family still does a lot of), and the fact that I worked in the global marketing and communications industry for over 30 years as a creative services manager and director, is what led me into my current businesses.”
Lyne has a degree in Fine Arts and Alise is a chef who works at South Coast Winery, which allows her to create themed gourmet catering, candy buffets and dessert stations. With this duo and their background, you are guaranteed a professional and fun event.

Lyne could have invented Pintrest. She and her daughter can design just about anything you can imagine. For the Woman’s Club Mermaid Festive, Lyne and Alise used recycled materials to create an impressive mermaid grotto.

Lyne and Alise were co-chairs of the Woman’s Club Fashion Show this year. The Fashion Show’s theme was “At The Movies,” a theme both women love. The mother-daughter duo dressed up as  Marilyn Monroe and spent countless hours putting together props for the production. The club is very thankful to have these two talented women as part of its team.

Lyne says that her big appeal to working in her industry is that it’s very creative. “We don’t do boring. Our specialty is creating an event for someone that is as unique as they are.” If you ever attended one of Lyne’s events, you would agree with her statement. She knows how to turn dreams into reality. She can make any event a very special and memorable one. Lyne and Alise love their work and put a lot of effort into their creations.

Lyne says that she loves working corporate events and weddings. Her most memorable experiences were creating her daughter’s Hawaiian themed wedding and her step-daughter’s vintage garden themed wedding. “These events were close to my heart,” she says. .

Lyne has a second business called Creative Communications, its a marketing, production and consulting company. The two businesses really compliment each other and often crossover.

Lyne’s words of wisdom for starting your own business are to make sure you love your work, and that also applies to the non-self-employed. “I worked for a company for over 30 years and there was not one day that I woke up dreading to go to work,” she says. “Pursue what you love.”  When it comes to advertising your own business, Lyne says the best advertising is word of mouth. “It’s free.”

Lyne has a heart for serving her community. She’s served three consecutive years as a board member in the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club; two years as the Ways and Means Chairperson and one year as the Publicity Chairperson. She’s also a  member of the Travel Club, Yacht Club and Fiesta Day Committee. This year she served as the Fiesta Day Parade Director and plans to do it again next year. Lyne says Fiesta Day is one of her favorite community events. A self-proclaimed cat fanatic, Lyne also manages to find time to volunteer at the Menifee Valley Human society.

Alise and her husband are Canyon Lake residents. Lyne is originally from England, she was born in Salford, Manchester and moved to the U.S. when she was 22 years old. She moved to Canyon Lake five years ago. “I wanted to live near a lake and found that here, with a touch of paradise,” she says. Her husband Mike is a great support in her business and sometimes helps her with executing her creative and sometimes crazy work.

Together, Lyne and Mike have six children and two grandchildren. Lyne enjoys having her family living close by and often has family gatherings at her home. “Life is never dull at the Hall house,” she says. The family enjoys boating, playing together in their pool, dining out, going to the movies and playing cards and trivia games. Most of all, they love entertaining in their home.
