9ers illuminate golf course for tournament

Forty golfers participated in the 9ers Glow Ball Tournament and Chili Cook-off on Friday, October 29. The hole and many targets on the fairway were illuminated, bright green glow balls appeared as tracers and participants wore glow necklaces. Linda Kielty, president of the 9ers, was awarded “Chili Queen.” Spokesperson Kathy Sanchez says, “Everyone agreed this was an electric event. Thank you to all those who work so hard to make this evening possible. If you’re looking to get outdoors and enjoy this paradise we live in, come join the 9ers Golf Club. We are low-key and welcome all level players.”
