Letter: Larry Greene

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

Here are some of the facts that make me confident that Larry Greene will make an outstanding City Council member and why he is deserving of your vote:

Larry is extremely honest, trustworthy, loyal and consistent. When elected he will be a person that you can count on to do the things that are in the best interest of the overall community.

Larry has been a property owner in Canyon Lake for 39 years. During that time, Larry has had the opportunity to observe the good and the bad associated with the community.

Larry is not a newcomer to politics in Canyon Lake, as he has previously run for the POA Board, and has been very involved in disaster preparedness and public safety matters associated with our City. He has also been called upon by both the POA and the City Council to provide his expertise in matters of fire service and public safety!

In Larry’s professional life, he was a firefighter for the City of Fullerton and rose to the level of deputy fire chief. Since the deputy fire chief is the liaison for the fire department to all of the other offices within a city, Larry has acquired a vast background in public and city administration. Larry was also very involved in interfacing with other fire chiefs and deputy fire chiefs in surrounding cities and counties.

Now is the time to choose a candidate who has proven city administration experience for a major city and is extremely knowledgeable about how to provide fire and emergency services to our community at an affordable and sustainable level.

His political street signs sums it up, as far as I am concerned: “Leadership with Integrity, fairness and honesty!”
