Steve Martin

Steve Martin moved to Canyon Lake in 2004. Steve, along with his wife Ruth, founded the Canyon Lake Bible Club out of their home in 2009. It became a sanctioned club that same year and has been serving the community ever since. The Bible Club quickly grew beyond Steve’s expectations.

The club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Pool View Room at the Lodge and hosts a number of community events, including the Canyon Lake National Day of Prayer, Sunrise Easter Service at Indian Beach and the Canyon Lake Christmas Gala.

Steve has rolled up his sleeves to help those in the community facing more than they can handle with painting, moving, fixing sprinklers and pulling weeds. He helps the elderly in the community with yard work and delivers food and medicine to them. Steve has done many random acts of kindness both in and out of Canyon Lake. As a union medic in the motion picture industry, Steven logs many work hours but still finds time to volunteer and help those in need.
