Wakeboard Club holds second tourney of season

The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club held its second tournament of the season on August 27 in the North Ski Area. Wakeboard Club President Dave Clarke says, “It was a beautiful day with great water, so all competitors were very excited. All our sponsors came through with great prizes for the competitors.”

In the Mini Division, there was tie for 1st place between Avery Clarke and Mason Brown. With 200 points, Autumn Clarke took 1st place in the Beginner Division, while Jack Culp took 1st place in the Jr. Novice Division. Lexi Gonzalez placed 1st in the Women’s Division and, with 200 points, Dave Clarke nabbed 1st place in the Veterans Division.

There was a tie between Chris Williams and Robbie Culp in the Open Division, and a tie between Natalie Graham and Andy Birch in the Wakeskate Division. All four wakeboarders scored 100 points each.

Other 1st place winners were Ben Sims in the Expert Division, Travis Clarke in the Wakeskate Open Division and Craig Brown in the Masters Division.
