In Memoriam: Beverly Colson

Beverly Ann Colson passed away July 21, 2016. She was born November 8, 1939 in Chicago.

Her family moved to Manhattan Beach, California, where she attended Mara Costa High School. Beverly then married Richard Sankey and raised their three children in Redondo Beach.

After she married her second husband, Robert Colson, they moved from Torrance and retired in Canyon Lake. Bob and Bev lived here for more than 25 years.

Bev was so proud to call Canyon Lake her home. She was in the Woman’s Club and held many positions on the board. She worked on projects to better the community and always had a big heart for those in need!

She will be missed by her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Bev spent the last two years of her life in San Diego to be near her children, but will always remember all the friends she made while living in Canyon Lake.
