Summer activities for youth have always been a tradition in Canyon Lake. It isn’t just the organized activities that capture a child’s imagination. All the parks have new playgrounds or are in the process of getting brand new equipment.

Waterfront beaches provide access to the lake for swimming, fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and boating with family or friends. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, golf lessons, and an equestrian center to visit the horses or take lessons. Many adult children have come back to visit their parents in Canyon Lake, saying they didn’t appreciate what they had when they were here – but they get it now. Many want to raise their own children here.

All of the events listed here  family-oriented for all ages.
