Letter: Fiesta Day Thanks

The Fiesta Day Committee would like to thank all the participants and vendors who participated in this year’s “Flashback Fiesta.” Planning begins in January and takes many meetings to provide a special day for the community.

Thank you to our sponsors: Buskins, Horizon Solar, CR&R and Rain Cross Iron Works. Thanks also to the Country Club staff for a wonderful Dignitary Breakfast, and the Car Club for providing the convertibles. Thanks to Pat Kemball for the loan of golf carts to the committee, Premier Party Rentals for a discount on the equipment.

The entertainment both inside and outside of the Lodge was great. The reptile show was a hit.  Everyone enjoyed the Hodads Band. The ShowCal Skiers and Wakeboard Clubs provided wonderful shows. Operations did an outstanding job, as always, with setups required on the parade route, streets and at the Lodge. Thanks to Securitas for the great control of the traffic.

Thank you to all the parade participants, especially our grand marshals. A special thanks to our veterans for participating in the Veterans Brigade. Congratulations to the Women’s Golf Club, Yacht Club and Woman’s Club for winning the best decorated booth contests. Thanks as always to The Friday Flyer for their wonderful coverage and pictures of the event.

I want to personally thank every member of the committee for their dedication, time, hard work and commitment to making this event better every year.
