Clubs decorate for ‘Flashback Fiesta’
It might have been difficult to tell that this year’s Fiesta Day celebrated the 50s, 60s and 70s if it weren’t for the logo, created by Lyne Hall, and the food booths sponsored by Canyon Lake clubs.
This year’s clubs sold their traditional choices: hot dogs, brats, pulled pork sandwiches, tacos, ice cream, sodas, iced tea and more – nothing too fancy but everything delicious! Leave it to the Family Matters Club to introduce a new treat this year: pickles!
Winning the Booth-decorating Contest was the Women’s Golf Club for the 50s, the Yacht Club for the 60s and the Woman’s Club for the 70s. The Fiesta Day Committee awarded each of these clubs $100 for their efforts.
